Sending Limits
Emails > Send Limits (/emails/send-limits) sets per-mailbox outbound send
limits: the server-wide default, and an override for a single mailbox.
This is not the same as the per-domain limit on the
Domain Limits page. That one is applied by
postfwd. This one is counted from the mail log by
hitechcloudcli email-sendlimit, because postfwd is optional and is not
installed — let alone wired into Postfix — on every server.
The page reads and writes what that command owns. The counting, the suspension and the alert all happen in the cron job.
Customers can see their own figures, and tighten a mailbox below the ceiling you set, from Sending Limits in the hosting panel.
hitechcloudcli email-sendlimit <show|status|set|unset|default|enforce>
