hitechcloudcli license command is used to set a license key for HiTechCloud Enterprise, verify it, display information and delete the key to downgrade to Community edition.

View available options:

hitechcloudcli license

Adding a license key:

hitechcloudcli license <KEY>

Saving a key also installs the Enterprise modules (the same as hitechcloudcli module install --edition enterprise). --set <license-key> says the same thing explicitly, and --key-stdin reads the key from standard input, so it does not appear in the shell history.

Additional flags are available:

• --json - displays response as json.
• --no-restart - does not restart the services; prints what to restart instead.
• --background - installs the Enterprise modules in the background and returns at once. Follow the install in /var/log/hitechcloud/enterprise-activation.log.

View license key:

hitechcloudcli license key

View license information:

hitechcloudcli license info

Verify the key with the licensing server (changes nothing):

hitechcloudcli license verify

Delete license key (the server returns to Community; nothing is uninstalled):

hitechcloudcli license delete
