Module

hitechcloudcli module installs and removes the panel's own services, by edition. Packages from other vendors are third-party modules, managed with hitechcloudcli modules (plural).

hitechcloudcli module list # every module: edition, state, memory, units
hitechcloudcli module status <module>... # one module in detail
hitechcloudcli module install <module>... # with its dependencies first
hitechcloudcli module install --edition enterprise # every Enterprise module
hitechcloudcli module uninstall <module>... [--purge]
hitechcloudcli module repair <module>... # re-render configuration, re-enable, restart
hitechcloudcli module update <module>... # upgrade its packages, restart its units
  • install --edition enterprise installs every Enterprise module and every Community one too: Enterprise is a superset. Adding a licence key with hitechcloudcli license <key> runs the same install in the background.
  • uninstall stops and removes a module. Customer data is kept unless --purge is given, which refuses while any of that data is in use.
  • --json gives machine-readable output, for the panels.

module list marks units that are off by design (the firewall while it is switched off, the machine-wide Varnish, OpenLiteSpeed's lshttpd) with a note instead of reporting them as failed.

A component the operating system cannot provide is reported as not available rather than failed. On AlmaLinux and RHEL 10, for example, PHP 5.6 is not offered. See System requirements.
