Version: 4.1
Enterprise & Package Lifecycle Manager (Roadmap)
In active development
The Enterprise & Package Lifecycle Manager has been taken out of the default admin interface while its package management architecture is completed, its compatibility across operating systems is improved and it is integrated more deeply with the Native WebEngine stack.
Overview
The Enterprise & Package Lifecycle Manager is an advanced toolset for system administrators. It automates installing, configuring, updating and managing the life cycle of software, libraries, service packages and extension modules across a HiTechCloud server cluster.
Main features in development
1. Multi-Stack WebEngine & Runtime Orchestration
- Install and manage PHP versions independently (from PHP 5.6 to 8.4+).
- Manage modern runtimes: Node.js (through nvm/corepack), Python (pyenv/venv), Ruby, Golang.
- Switch runtimes without downtime (zero-downtime runtime switching).
2. Enterprise Network & VPN Mesh (WireGuard)
- Manage a secure private network between server nodes with WireGuard.
- Generate keys, configure peers and export secure connection profiles for administrators.
3. Integrated Security & RDAP Lookups
- Whois / RDAP lookups to the ICANN standard.
- Automatic SSL/TLS certificate monitoring with early renewal warnings.
4. Modular Add-ons & Package Repository
- An add-on repository for auxiliary services such as Redis Cache, Memcached, Varnish Cache, ClamAV and ImunifyAV.
- Background task tracking for installs, with a real-time streaming log.
